In collaboration with Ada Club, we supported the AdaHack hackathon held at Epilog's premises as a silver sponsor. The event aimed to encourage young developers to solve real-world problems using advanced technologies and to empower women in computing.
Our colleague Marko presented a socially impactful challenge: 'AI-Powered Learning Assistant for the Visually Impaired'. To help participating teams genuinely understand the daily educational challenges faced by visually impaired students, he arranged a firsthand perspective through high school student Mila. Throughout the weekend, Marko actively mentored the teams, conducted a business model design workshop, and guided technical solution development.
The result of this intensive effort was the winning solution NoteVoice, which impressed judges with its usability and technical execution. Through hackathons, we aim to encourage youth to build technologies with high social impact while equipping them with practical knowledge to turn ideas into real products.
